Kenny is a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) with over 10 years’ experience. He received his training through the Visual Disabilities Program at Florida State University. Teaching adults with vison loss to be independent travelers is his specialty. He also has experience teaching and evaluating school-aged children with visual impairments. Kay is a certified teacher of students with visual impairments (TSVI) with over 30 years’ experience. Assessing children (birth through 22) with vision loss and providing educational programming are her specialties. She also has experience as a physical educator working with children who are blind or visually impaired, as an itinerant teacher of the visually impaired teaching all areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum, and as a professional developer working with current and future teachers of the visually impaired.
